It is made from solid wood and rated to 300lbs per bed, with full-length guard rails on the top bunk, an integrated ladder and a slat system that removes the need for a box spring or foundation. What sets it apart is four reversible step drawers with roller side glides, so the staircase can be built on either side of the bed. The staircase comes pre-assembled and easy to attach.

The M-2013SB is built to change with the room: it separates into standalone beds when the kids outgrow the stack; you can order the frame on its own or add a pull-out twin trundle for sleepovers or a pair of rolling storage drawers. It arrives in 4 cartons with the hardware and instructions included, and two people can put it together in an afternoon. Every set is brand new and factory direct, and backed by a 1-year manufacturer warranty.
