Common questions

How comfortable is a sofa bed to sleep on?

Pull-out sleeper sofas are designed for regular overnight use and feel closest to a real bed. Adding a topper transforms the sleep surface into something much closer to a traditional mattress if you plan to use it more frequently.

What’s the difference between a sectional, sleeper sofa, and klick-klack?

Sectionals are L-shaped with a chaise (often reversible, many with storage). Sleeper sofas are traditional three-seaters with a pull-out bed inside. Klick-klacks use a simple fold-flat mechanism.

How many people can sleep on it?

This sofa bed sleeps one to two adults depending on the model. Our range includes everything from compact single-sleepers up to full-size pull-outs.

How easy is it to assemble?

Sleeper sofas arrive nearly fully assembled — usually just attaching the legs. Typically 15 minutes with basic tools.

Every standalone sofa bed in this collection features a hidden pull-out mattress designed for real overnight sleep — not just a foldout couch cushion.

How it works: The pull-out base is tucked underneath the seat of the sofa. To set it up, pull the base outward from the front of the sofa until it’s fully extended, then pull on the fabric straps to lift the cushion up until it’s level with the seat — creating a flat, continuous sleep surface in seconds. Reverse the process to tuck it back under when you’re done.

Built for overnight guests: Ideal for hosting friends or family, setting up a guest-ready home office, or giving a studio apartment flexibility without giving up floor space.

For frequent use: If you plan to use the pull-out regularly, we recommend adding a topper — it transforms the sleep surface into something closer to a traditional mattress.

Our standalone sofa beds are designed specifically for modern homes where space is at a premium — Toronto condos, apartments, and rooms that do double duty.

Condo-friendly footprint: At 64–70″ wide, our sleeper sofas are noticeably smaller than a sectional — they fit in spaces where a corner sofa would overwhelm the room. A typical Toronto one-bedroom or small living room accommodates one without sacrificing walking paths or floor space.

Works against any wall: Unlike some bulky pull-outs, our sleeper sofas don’t need deep wall clearance when extended. Set them up against a wall and the bed deploys forward — no need to drag the sofa into the room every time a guest stays over.

Designed for rooms that multi-task: Home offices that become guest rooms, dens that become sleepover spaces, studios that host weekend visitors. Our sleeper sofas slot into all of them without committing the room to just one function.

Some sofa beds are mechanisms with cushions thrown on top. Ours are real sofas with beds built inside.

Designed to be used daily: These are built for everyday lounging — plush cushions, supportive back, proper seat depth. Customers buy them as their primary sofa, not just as an occasional guest piece.

No visible “sofa bed” giveaway: When the bed is tucked away, our sleeper sofas look like any other sofa. No exposed mechanism, no awkward hinges, no cheap-looking seams. Your living room doesn’t have to announce that there’s a bed inside.

Solid wood frame construction: Built to handle daily use for years — not flat-pack particle board that loosens over time. A sofa bed you’d actually be proud to have as your main living room piece.

HIDDEN MECHANISM

The bed is inside — guests never see it

The pull-out mattress stays completely hidden inside the sofa frame when the piece is in sofa mode. No visible hinges, no fabric mismatches, no giveaway that you’ve got a spare bed built into your furniture. Lift the seat cushions, unfold the mattress, and it’s ready for the night in seconds.

COMPACT BY DESIGN

Fits where a sectional won't

Our sleeper sofas fit into spaces where a sectional would overwhelm the room. Perfect for downtown condos, 1-bedroom apartments, home offices, and basement dens. You get the comfort of a full sofa and the flexibility of a guest bed without losing half your floor plan.
A REAL SOFA, A REAL BED

Sofa-first design. Bed when you need it.

This isn’t a mechanism with cushions thrown on top — it’s a proper sofa built with a pull-out bed hidden inside. Clean lines, soft cushions, and the right proportions for a living room that happens to double as an occasional guest room. When no one’s visiting, it disappears into the background as just another great sofa.
